A token with serial number and date of arrival is provided to the truck/van driver.
Truck/van then enters the parking area.
Registration of the truck/van arrival including Shippers Invoice is made in the record book. “Arrived at Parking” seal is stamped on the opposite page of Shipper's Invoice.
Photo of the truck/van is sent to Gate No. 1 at OCL. The truck/van is recorded as ‘’PARKING IN” in the software. This information is automatically passed to all users of the software.
Driver hands over the Shipper's Invoice with SAP seal to C&F agent. The C&F agent hands over the invoice to the Forwarder's office. Forwarders issue confirmation to the C&F agent.
C&F agent hands over the documents along with Forwarder’s confirmation to Warehouse Table in charge.
SAPL staff (Table-in-Charge) instructs the Gate Security to allow truck/van entry, mentioning truck/van number and carton/cargo quantity.
Gate Security informs Truck Parking Office to send the mentioned truck/van to CFS Warehouse after issuing Gate-pass.
Gate Security at SAPL or OCL allows truck/van inside CFS upon checking Gate-pass, invoice etc. Gate Security collects the token and updates “GATE IN” in the software. Gate Security allows truck/van to enter SAPL/OCL after checking the truck/van thoroughly.
On completion of unloading, truck/van reports to the gate, where the truck/van is checked thoroughly and Gate-Out procedure is followed prior to exiting SAPL/OCL.
